We're Back...with the Goose

Well, it has been over a year since I have posted. I really have no excuse except for we now not only have Little Man but also Little Miss. Our little girl, Hailey is already 15 months old and I thought it might be a good time to pick up blogging again.

One main reason is we are lucky enough to start some preschool work with Mother Goose Time. I hope those that are interested will stop over at their website and see what they have to offer. Here is a preview of what we have been up to lately.

When you purchase Mother Goose Time you also get a beautiful Welcome Kit. In the Welcome Kit there are so many tools we use daily. Here you can see Mason setting the weather for the day.

Hailey is happy to dance around to the Circle Time CD that is included with the Mother Goose Time Welcome Kit.
Our first day of Mother Goose Time was focused on Celebration and Parades. One of the first activities we did was coloring a teddy bear to invite to our celebration of a teddy bear picnic.

And of course Woodson wanted to be part of the teddy bear picnic.
How fitting is it that we actually went to a birthday party the same day as our celebrations day.

Later in the day we played celebration lotto where we identified symbols from celebrations.
The second day we started our Let's Be Superheroes theme.
Mason showing his superhero power of flying (off the couch).

The kids used provided sequin to decorate their super hero shield. They also colored it and added their super names.
Little Miss sometimes eats the markers rather than coloring with them.

 Showing his super hero strength.

Mason assigned superhero names to each of us. I wrote them out on the provided name tags and posted them in the room for the remainder of the unit.
Our local library brought in some vehicles for a Touch a Truck event. Mason loved it!
